There are some things more important than fame and fortune, as Hollywood and sitcom star Angus Jones has proven
A leading TV star has told how he quit Hollywood after finding God. Two And A Half Men actor Angus T Jones, known on the show as Charlie Sheen’s nephew, Jake Harper, walked out after becoming a Christian and has now begged his fans NOT to watch the sitcom.
Jones, 20, who became the highest paid child actor in TV history when he was paid almost £200,000 per episode, believes the popular show clashes with his newfound beliefs.
“If you watch ‘Two And A Half Men’, please stop watching,” he says. “Please stop filling your head with filth.
“It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people.

“I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.” Jones, who is now studying the Bible and wants to make Christian productions, was netting a whopping £5 million a season and is estimated to be worth more than £10 million.
Speaking at a recent Christian conference, he said, “I really want to come into the light because I know that is where the healing is and I’ve seen God do amazing things.”
Jones’ pastor, James Doggett, adds, “He [Jones] really considers his relationship with God and what he’s putting out in the atmosphere to be a lot more important than his reputation in Hollywood. I’m not sure he really cares a whole lot about being an actor or being well known in that regard.”
